Darwin’s biggest beach party is about to get even louder.

The Northern Territory’s biggest music festival is turning up the volume once again, with a huge new wave of artists added to the BASSINTHEGRASS 2026 line‑up. Set against the stunning backdrop of Mindil Beach’s palm trees and blue skies, this year’s festival will deliver an even more powerful mix of global names, Australian favourites and rising stars across 3 stages.

American powerhouse Denzel Curry will unleash his explosive stage presence and razor‑sharp lyrics, while Swedish electronic chart‑toppers Galantis bring their globally acclaimed anthems and signature big room sound to Darwin for an unforgettable night beachside.

Australian rock icons the Living End are also locked in, returning to BASSINTHEGRASS for the first time in 12 years. Frontman Chris Cheney said the band is eager to return to the Top End.

“Can’t believe it’s been 12 years since the last time we played BASSINTHEGRASS. Can’t wait to come back and blast through some tracks from our brand‑new album I Only Trust Rock n Roll along with all the old faves — see yas soon Darwin,” Cheney said.

Melbourne genre‑benders Playlunch will bring their chaotic, nostalgic “bogan funk” energy fresh off the viral success of Keith, which reached #4 in the triple j Hottest 100.

The line‑up also expands with one of Australia’s most influential electronic artists Ninajirachi, Indigenous hip‑hop storyteller Kobie Dee, US house producer AYYBO, UK viral breakout Morty, and Korean alt‑R&B and drum and bass artist Oktae.

They join an already stacked bill on Saturday 16 May, featuring multi‑platinum duo Peking Duk, blues‑rock favourites the Teskey Brothers, multi‑instrumentalist G Flip, Ball Park Music, Kita Alexander, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, UK drum and bass turntablist Venjent, New Zealand rapper JessB, plus crowd favourites Mallrat, In Hearts Wake, and a special back‑to‑back set from Anna Lunoe and Nina Las Vegas.

General admission tickets are currently $135 for a limited time, before increasing to $155 once this drop sells out. Premium options are also available, with prices varying based on inclusions.
