NT Aboriginal Tourism Business Accelerator Program launches

Published

We have officially kicked off the NT Aboriginal Tourism Business Accelerator Program, with 19 Aboriginal tourism entrepreneurs selected to take part in this exciting program.

The program is led by the Department of Tourism and Hospitality’s Aboriginal tourism team and delivered in partnership with Indigenous Business Australia with support from the Australian Government. The program is designed to support new and strengthen Aboriginal-owned tourism businesses by providing the tools, skills and support needed to grow sustainable enterprises and develop new tourism experiences and product.

Running from 16 February to June 2026, participants will attend monthly, week-long face-to-face workshops focused on business capability and tourism training. Each business will also receive tailored one-on-one support from a dedicated business coach until September 2026 and be introduced to key industry networks.

The program provides a valuable opportunity to build strong foundations for long-term success. By supporting Aboriginal businesses, we are contributing to economic and cultural outcomes for Territorians and further strengthening the Northern Territory’s visitor economy.
