Strategic review of the NT Racing Industry

In December 2024, the Minister for Racing commissioned the Strategic Review of the NT Racing Industry to provide a clear path forward for the Northern Territory racing industry.

The final report is the result of extensive consultation across all codes and regions.  Many individuals and stakeholders provided constructive feedback throughout the process.

The Review report outlines key opportunities to streamline and strengthen the industry across four key areas: structural reform, operational efficiency, club sustainability, and code-specific issues.

The Government has considered all recommendations and accepted, either fully or in-principle, all bar one.
